This is Your Time
Sometimes right when you're ready
to give up,
to toss in the towel-
and to head in a new direction,
you're given that chance.
That elusive BIG BREAK.
And if you'd left just a moment sooner or
given up just a month earlier,
you would have missed it.
But you persisted.
You resisted -
the norm,
the fear,
the doubt.
That is what makes you strong.
Has made the naysayers wrong.
Has made the naysayers wrong.
Makes you right
As you put up the good fight.
And now is your time to claim your reward.
So keep your head held high,
eyes looking forward.
Knowing that this is just the beginning
for the road was just bending.
Time to lose what you left behind
And embrace what you're meant to find.
On this new road,
that you could have missed-
almost missed-
But didn't.
